About those corporate political donations…

Fec.gov is a treasure trove of information. Use it to follow the money.

Especially for people like Georgia Republican Barry Loudermilk who appears to have stopped hosting town halls probably for fear of saying something else embarrassing like not vaccinating his children.

Yet he’s doing just fine raking in corporate donations from the likes of these recognizable companies:

One of these is an Ohio based bank who has chosen to try to enter the Atlanta metro market with a number of branches that are rarely busy. Why would they be so interested in donating to such an unpopular incumbent who is in lock step with such an unpopular president?

Another such company is Publix who said they had no more money for Loudermilk yet decided to resume their donations as well recently.

What exactly are these companies getting in return for these donations?

Do you want to continue doing business with these companies supporting these candidates?
